DD_canvas 2024 is a series of patchwork canvases. All the original pieces of canvas were used as studio drop cloth, or recycled from leftover dye & paint experiments. These scrappy morsels were pinned side-by-side on a fabric table to be screen-printed. After printing, they were cut up only to be sewn back together again. Laser-cut smiley patches are featured throughout most of the series: hanging out in front or discreetly tucked around the frame.
